Asalaamulaykum!

My name is Bushra and welcome to my book babbles! I have always been an avid reader but lately I’ve been seeing a lot of concerning, un-Islamic content geared specifically to children.

This page is dedicated to reviewing children’s and youth books with Islamic principles in mind. Reviews based on my religious viewpoints and opinions. Additionally, potential “iffy” content will be listed as different parents look for different content.

While I list anything I may find as concerning in these books, my personal opinion will also be given. Depending on the book, context and how the characters react to specific situations I may argue for or against a book. At the end of the day it is up to a parent’s discretion on what content they want their child to be consuming.
